INTEGRATED SYSTEMS

Mechanical Subsystems

Air Vehicle Subsystems
(El Segundo/Palmdale)

On the F-35, J-UCAS and B-2 teams, specialists will have responsibility for both system level design as well as sub-contractor performance in development of major subsystems and mechanical components. Your work would include analysis and design in these areas:

  • Actuation Systems
  • Electrical Harness Installations
  • Fire Protection Systems
  • Hydraulics Systems
  • Landing Gear
  • Power Distribution Systems
  • Propulsion Installation
  • Weapons Bay Systems / Armament Carriage
  • Wire Harness Design

Flight Control
Assignments include system requirements definition, flow-down, analysis, detailed simulation and design as well as supplier interface and integration efforts related to:

  • Flight Control Actuation Systems
  • Vehicle Management Systems Architecture
  • Flight Control/GNC System Integration
  • GNC Control Law Development

Qualifications:
System architects will be experienced in real time system architecture design, digital systems, data bus standards, analog/digital/discrete I/O, and be familiar with real time operating systems. An understanding of Vehicle Management System integration with Flight Control, GNC and Integrated Vehicle Health Management concepts is preferred. (El Segundo/Palmdale/San Diego)

Aircraft– Composites & Metallics
Structural Analysis Methods, load paths, load distribution, sizing, fittings/fasteners/joints/splices, acoustics/vibration familiarity, integrity plan, design criteria, FEM, test plan, loading conditions, stability, crippling, drawings, materials, allowables, micro-mechanics, impact damage, failure theories, stacking sequence/laminate analysis, attachment effects, environmental effects, weight, plasticity, creep, grain directions, fatigue, stress concentration

Low Observables

Radar Cross Sectioning/ Signature Management
Our team is expanding as they meet the challenges of LO Techniques and Design Integration, Survivability Analysis, Signature Analysis, Antenna/Aperture Integration, and model design for advanced manned and unmanned aircraft.

Qualifications:
Several years of experience in Computational Electro-magnetic using MOM, FMM, MLFMM, X-Patch codes, as well as Radar Cross Section predictions & analysis. Other positions require experience in design, fabrication & testing of RCS models.

Mass Properties
Perform Mass Properties weight/center of gravity/moment of inertia analysis in support of IPT team design activity. Perform Mass Properties mission analysis. Conduct Mass Properties tracking and reporting function.

Engineering Planners
On our Planning Team you could provide engineering planning and scheduling support to manned and unmanned aircraft programs Primary responsibilities will include: baseline schedule development, weekly EVMS Cost, Schedule and EAC visibility/tracking. You will also provide critical skills database development plans and demonstrate staffing plan integration to program management. You will act as a focal point for team issues and weekly briefing preparations.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have: experience in baseline development, weekly (EVMS) Cost, Schedule and EAC visibility/tracking; knowledge or experience in new program start-up is a plus; a solid understanding of MS Project, MS Office and MPM; extensive knowledge of EVMS (Earned Value Management Systems); a background in supporting technical areas such as Engineering, Tooling and Manufacturing Engineering; and a demonstrated ability to work and provide leadership in a team, multi-discipline environment.

Tactical Wireless Systems Engineers - H.U.R.T. Program
(El Segundo)

Integrated Systems is offering opportunities to experienced wireless systems designers and software engineers who will place unprecedented capabilities in the hands of our troops, the "grunts" on the mean streets of this world. Using wireless technology linked into existing tactical networks, the Heterogeneous Unmanned Reconnaissance Team “ HURT”  system will enable real-time, platoon level tasking of unmanned systems for mission optimized imagery and threat data in the  urban warfare environment.
